Last night, as I sat downstairs, enjoying my cocoa and movie playing on TV, something happened. I saw two mice run past, on the floor!
I placed some of the sticky traps, that our pest control place leaves for us, all around. Also, I’ve got a little friend down here with me, tonight. I’m hoping Gary will help to get them suckers out of here.

Wyatt had a construction competition, today. He got second place! He won a whole bunch of tools. He was so proud 😊

Adam is starting to feel much better. I’m so anxious for everyone to be feeling well, again. My voice is also slowly improving.
It was beautiful outside, today. 75 degrees and sunny. Looking into the forecast, however, it appears Thanksgiving day will be cold. The high is only 44 degrees.
I was looking back at photos, from this time last year, earlier. It’s incredible how much my babies have grown! They’ve changed so much. The changes just one year can bring, never cease to amaze me. It’s been a real good year, though. I find myself appreciating a whole lot, lately. I’m grateful for everything this past year has brought to me and my family.
It is cruel to let a mouse suffer in a glue trap. Mice are animals just like your cat and dog. You should get a humane mouse trap (Havahart is one) and re-locate them a few miles from your home. I’m sure your husband would release them if you asked.

Oh, they don’t have to suffer. We check them regularly. I’m a big animal lover. I’ve rescued several wild animals, including squirrels, raccoons, and a baby deer. I’ve also saved countless baby bunnies. However, I have zero conflict within myself if an animal needs to die for a purpose. We had a pig I loved when I was little. We named him pork chop. When he grew up, my dad had pork chop sent to the butcher. I wrote about it in second grade “We had a pig named pork chop. And then we ate him.” I won’t kill a spider outside. I will do it if they’re in MY space. I wouldn’t hurt a dog. I would if he was threatening the safety of someone. Mice get into walls and chew wires. They get into cabinets and leave hundreds of little mouse droppings, so that you now have to throw out ALL of the food that was stored there. I guess, I’m sorry that I’m not sorry?
